- Copy File (
Ctrl + C): Creates an identical “clone” of the file. The original remains in its place. - Cut File (
Ctrl + X): Functions as “moving house.” The file is marked to disappear from the original location after pasting. - Paste File (
Ctrl + V): The final action that places the cut or copied file into the new target location.
Use Cut (Ctrl + X) or Copy (Ctrl + C) to move or duplicate files from the source location.
Use Paste (Ctrl + V) in the destination folder to complete copying or moving the files.
